Project Summary

The project comprised the development of 250 residential units on a split level site.
Following concerns regarding the relationship between proposed finished floor levels and the adopted road design, Cubic were initially engaged to interrogate the design against ‘as built’ level information. Cubic were further required to provide earthworks quantities for works already undertaken and subsequent phases.

Cubic Solution

Cubic created a digital model from the provided design information and then undertook a complete site survey over a two day period. Through a series of cross sections and 3D visualisations our client was then able to obtain a clear understanding of the site levels and their preferred earthworks solution. Further to this, Cubic, alongside our client, developed an earthworks strategy which enabled them to maximise working areas, thereby providing the potential for earlier access to subsequent phases.
